The upcoming Suzanne Carbone- Daron Balducci Merger

We're literally just days away from the Suzanne Carbone-Daron Balducci July wedding event in Rhode Island. Can you hear the "Godfather" music from where you are yet? How about "Take me out to the Ballgame"? (much more likely in my family). An evening wedding and reception is planned in the Chapel of one of Warwick's historic oceanfront mansions- The Aldrich Mansion. John D. Rockefeller, Jr was married there- so it'll be a nice event. They have put a lot of time into making sure the event will be long remembered. Click on the pic to visit The Aldrich Mansion site:

The last big Balducci event was my niece Dana's wedding to Jason Plourde during the great blizzard of 2005. I do have a wonderful but small family- so events like this are all too rare, especially when they wait until their thirties to marry- geesh Daron. We're looking forward to the trip from Baja to Rhode Island and thought we'd share some pics from the last wedding event to get everyone in the wedding bell mood (you too Daron!... Run Forrest Run). During the wedding events we'll keep the blog updated for those who can't make it. Hey- we're old, but not tech-dead... yet.

It's not your wedding this time Dana, but we'll still rub your feet- well, maybe.

Dana and Jason Plourde share cake- and were nice about it.

My sister Lou (Louise) and Fred Balducci- One down, one to go! Two of the nicest people in the world.

Cousins Michelle Reardon Carter, her sister Lisa Reardon Russell and Daron Balducci (still laughing? the upcoming Groom!)

Country line dancing in Connecticut? Why not?

Woooosh-note:

I know Daron wanted a family while he still had some hair left and I can hear Miss Suzanne's biological clock ticking from here in Baja- and I haven't even met her yet. And seeing this photo I can understand why. An Italian family is a wonderful thing. Just look at the great work Jay and Dana did! Dana and Daron grew up with many cousins around for the weekly family gatherings and time together at the beach. I hope Gavin, Chase and Nolan will have more Balducci cousins to play with and grow up with together soon.

Post wedding woooosh-note: I'm sorry about the clock ticking comment in this post Suzanne. I know you weren't mad, but I felt bad everyone actually read it and teased you about it. Who knew your Florida friends would google and find it :)
